| Modern Dinosaurs |
| In July, 2005 DINO donated over
$50 000 to schools promoting environmental awareness in
Southern Africa. Unabated depletion of natural resources
has hurt both people and wildlife in this region, depriving
some local residents of even a subsistence living. DINO
advocates education, understanding and responsible management
to prevent such catastrophe . . which inevitably leads
to significantly more costly international remediation.
DINO also donates to wildlife orphanages that are committed
to helping such endangered species such as the Black Rhino.
This modern cousin has been around for 45 million years
and is the second largest mammal after the elephant. In
the last 20 years almost 97% of its population has been
killed due to human encroachment and rampant poaching.
Fewer than 3000 are alive today. |
