Services Overview

DINO Software can assist you with your OS/390/ZOS based projects, especially those related to catalog maintenance and management. These offerings are structured around the T-REX command set capabilities and are designed to provide skilled technical resources, with years of practical experience, for project planning and implementation.

The service offerings can provide critical staff resources needed to:

  • Help you understand the scope and complexity of your existing catalog configuration.
  • Recommend the necessary steps to accomplish a needed project.
  • Design a project plan to achieve the project goals.
  • Build, along with your staff, the necessary command procedures.
  • Provide hands on knowledge transfer of T-REX command capabilities.
  • Perform, along with your staff, the tasks required to complete the project.
  • Provide a catalog management methodology integrated with T-REX to perform ongoing catalog maintenance tasks.

As part of the service offering, the T-REX user will be provided a comprehensive Catalog Methods and Procedures document that covers all of the catalog management tasks required to maintain catalogs on a continuous basis. The documented procedures will be fully integrated with the T-REX command set. Included with the methods and procedures document will be a procedures checklist and a complete JCL set.
